Vaccines are not safe.
FACT
Vaccines are safe and effective. Health Canada ensures they undergo rigorous testing before approval, a process that can take 10 years or more. Even after approval, vaccines are continuously monitored for safety.
MYTH
Vaccines can give you the disease they’re meant to prevent.
FACT
Most vaccines do not contain live viruses or bacteria, so they cannot cause illness. Even live vaccines contain weakened viruses that do not cause disease in healthy people.

Vaccines cause autism.
